Publish to an audience? Put your hand up.

WantBorn helps people build small apps for problems that are real. Some of those apps will be genuinely useful to the people who already read, watch or listen to you. This is how you tell us what you publish, so a human can spot that overlap instead of guessing at it.

Where this stands today

Nobody has registered yet. You would be the first. This page went up before there was a single partner on it, because the alternative was seeding it with names that hadn't agreed to anything. There is no directory to browse and no network effect to sell you — there is a founder who will read what you write here and come back to you only if a specific app fits.

What you get

  • · A person looks at what you publish beside a specific app and decides whether they overlap. If they don't, you hear nothing.
  • · When there is a fit, you get a real message from a human about that one app — what it does, who it's for, why we thought of you. You can ignore it or say no, and that ends it.
  • · Small audiences are the point, not a consolation. A small, trusted newsletter can convert better than a much bigger, less-relevant channel for a brand-new app — that is why this exists at all.
  • · Nothing about you is published without your registration being approved by a human first.

What we're not offering

  • · No money. There is no payment, no affiliate commission and no rate card here today. Payments are switched off across WantBorn entirely. If that ever changes it will be a separate, explicit conversation.
  • · No traffic promise. We have no audience data to project from and won't invent one.
  • · No directory listing to be discovered in. There isn't one yet, and there won't be until there are enough real partners for it not to look dead.
  • · No automated outreach. Nothing on WantBorn messages you by itself. Registering does not start a sequence, because there is no sequence.

What we ask for

Seven questions, three of them optional. We deliberately don't ask for your engagement rate, your audience demographics or a rate card — those are the questions that make a small creator close the tab, and none of them change whether an app fits what you write about.

You don't need a WantBorn account to register, and registering isn't a role: it doesn't change, unlock or restrict anything else you can do here.

Required, because it's the one thing here we can actually go and check. Everything else below is your word, and is shown as your word.

Not a dropdown on purpose. Our categories are ours; a person reads your sentence next to an app's category and decides whether they overlap.

Format

Shown as a band, never the exact number, and always labelled “self-reported”. Leave it blank and it shows as UNKNOWN — which is fine, and is not the same as zero. Small is the point here: a small, trusted newsletter can convert better than a much bigger, less-relevant channel for a new app.

Yours to give. We never scrape or guess a contact detail — leave this blank and the only route to you is where you publish.

“Never done one” is a perfectly good answer and costs you nothing here.

This saves a row and stops. It does not publish anything, it does not subscribe you to anything, and it does not trigger a message to you or to anyone else.
