Terms of Service

1. What WantBorn is

WantBorn is a curated, concierge marketplace that introduces creators (who have an audience) to vetted builders (indie developers who ship apps), and helps them structure a revenue-share partnership. We hand-match the pair and help broker the deal.

WantBorn is not an agency, is not the builder, and does not build your app. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice, and is not a party to the partnership agreement between a creator and a builder.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. Keep your account credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. We may decline, suspend, or remove accounts that abuse the platform or act in bad faith.

3. Briefs, applications & matches

• Creators may submit briefs describing an app they want for their audience. Builders may apply to briefs with a pitch, timeline, and proposed rev-share.
• Matching is curated and done by hand by WantBorn. We do not guarantee that any brief will be matched, or that any match will result in a launched app.
• You agree that information you submit is accurate, that you have the rights to share it, and that you will treat other parties' non-public information as confidential.

4. The partnership is between you

Any agreement to build, ship, monetize, or revenue-share an app is directly between the creator and the builder. We provide a these terms as a convenience only. You are responsible for your own contracts and for getting independent legal advice before signing anything binding.

5. Fees

Creators use WantBorn for free. Builders pay a success fee on a launched match. WantBorn does not currently process payments or hold funds between creators and builders. Any future platform revenue-share will be disclosed and agreed separately.

6. Intellectual property

Unless a creator and builder agree otherwise in their own contract, the builder owns the app and its underlying IP, and the creator retains all rights to their brand, name, likeness, and audience relationship. You keep ownership of the content you submit to WantBorn but grant us a limited license to display and process it to operate the service.

7. Acceptable use

Don't misrepresent yourself, scrape or abuse the platform, circumvent fees, upload unlawful or infringing material, or attempt to access data you're not authorized to see.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is" during the preview, without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WantBorn is not liable for the performance, conduct, or output of any creator or builder, or for indirect or consequential losses arising from partnerships introduced through the platform.
